Important : in order to do this you first need to set the correct permissions in the LMF , i.e. share the file(s) with the relevant group(s).
Units are automatically created in Moodle from data in SAMIS.

1. Check with your departmental administrator, or whoever in your department can add data to SAMIS, that you are listed as the Module tutor on SAMIS for the unit. If you are not, then ask them to add you.
2. Log in to Moodle and go to the Staff area
3. In the bottom right hand corner you will see the “Create your courses” wizard
4. Click on “Start Wizard”
5. Enter the year and period and click on “make my courses”
Contact e-learning@bath.ac.uk with details of the course name, a short name for it (max 11 characters) and staff who will need teacher/administrator access.
Activities can be copied by using the “Import course data” tool. This copies all activities of a selected type or types from one course to another:
Moodle will not allow you to add or remove questions from a quiz which has been attempted by students. In order to add or remove questions, you will first need to delete the quiz attempts.
