Not all my students have logged in to Moodle yet, and I want to put them in groups. How can I do this?

You can use the Course (SAMIS) Tools block to add students to your course and put them in groups. See attachment for instructions.

Can I set up groups in my Moodle course?

Yes. For information on how to set up groups see MoodleDocs Groups

Please note: The version of Moodle currently in use at Bath is version 1.5. In this version people cannot belong to more than one group in a course.
